During the summer at Deer Park Lodge kids will never be bored!! Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons are the kids chance to have fun with Becky and the fawn camp crew at DPL's Fawn Camp. Games, crafts, nature hikes, fun on the beach, singing songs and water fun are only some of what the little ones can expect at Deer Park Lodge.

At Deer Park Lodge you can spend some time on the waters of Lake Huron with one of our Explorer I water bikes, our canoe, or just relax on one of our tubes.

During the summer, our private sandy beach is a favourite spot to relax, tan, play or stroll along the shoreline. Our cabanna* is set up to sell ice-cream, refreshments, beach toys and assist guests with rentals. Chairs, umbrellas and a volleyball court set the scene. After observing Lake Huron's spectacular sky performance, at night you can sit back under the twinkling stars, beside a blazing campfire.

Bayfield and area offers a wide variety of experiences throughout every season and for every enthusiast. Local areas of interest include the Huron County Museum, the Huron Historic Gaol, the Marine Museum and the Grand Bend zoo. Guests may choose from a number of activities including guided fly fishing adventures through "Fly Fitters" or take in a play at the "Huron Country Playhouse" or the "Blyth Festival".

At Deer Park Lodge, you can follow your whims to a hiking or biking trail, a swim in the lake or in our heated in ground pool (only open during the summer months), beach volleyball, fishing, boating, water sports, shuffleboard, badminton and much more.

Or you can discover hundreds of ways of doing nothing at all!!

We are a resort for all seasons...at Deer Park, the end of summer is only the beginning of a new season of fun and relaxation. Cross country skiing, skating, tubing and snowmobiling are just some of the ways of never having to say "hibernate" again.
